Almost there!!

So, I am getting pretty excited for next weekend.

I can’t believe that I will be attending my very last graduation ceremony.

I am actually very nervous about this….

The ceremony is at the NAC and I will have to get up in front of sooooo many people

I know some people are probably thinking that I should get over it…but NO ha ha ha I’m psyched!

I think that I bought my dress back in April….its a Champagne colored dress with black flowers, its really different and let’s not forget that it looks totally amazing on me :P

From this dress, my three guest’s wardrobe got chosen ha ha ha

It was easy enough to get Mom dressed….She bought an all black dress that I gave my seal of approval too and then we spent an entire day shopping for a shawl….needless to say we found one and her outfit is complete.

Ced was also pretty easy to dress, with his job at Moores he had the suit and dress shirt down (he is SO sexy in a suit) the only thing that was missing was a tie and I told him that he wasn’t allowed to pick it, since he is color blind, we would have probably ended up with a green tie :P

So we went to Moores and I picked up two ties….one for him which matches perfectly with my dress and one for Pierre.

Now, my Dad was a total different story…..

For those of you who know him, you know that my Dad is a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy

I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with that, but I feel like there are no “dress to impress” occasions that happen in my parents lives but my graduation was another story.

A pair of khakis and a polo just wasn’t going to cut it.

SO off I went to Moores to shop for a suit!!!

As a said earlier, Ced works at Moores, so on Thanks giving weekend, we went to Bryson, Ced took Dad’s measurements and that week, him and I and our little piece of paper in tow went suit shopping!

Yep! We bought a suit for someone who didn’t even try it on!!

But it was a total success….Dad got a nice suit, a dress shirt and a tie for my graduation!!

I am so PSYCHED J

Birthdays

Wow it has been FOREVER since my last post.....

Not that much has been going in my life lately, nothing really worth posting at least

I got my car, got my feathers, got my heart broken, got my heart patched up a little lol and joined the gym....no biggie really.....

However this week was full of Birthdays!!!!

September 4th......Little Natey Man turns 1!!!

I can not believe that this little monkey-man is already a year old....I can still remember when Anie first told me she was pregnant in the dining room and painting those flowers on her belly.....and its already been a year since he is in this world....

Its kinda cool to watch a little lump of baby turn into a moving grooving little man.....this baby is SUCH a good baby compared to the spawn of Satan (Carly lol) he is all smiles and giggles......he cries when he is hungry, thirsty and sick....that's it that's all!!!

Moving on....Today Carly turns 3!!!!

I cant believe she is already 3....i always call her my favorite girl because honestly, she is my favorite little girl in the whole wide world!!! She may be nick named Rosemary's baby, but i couldn't agree less with that statement........this kid is hoot!!! she has more attitude than any 16 year old you know and even if shes 3, she thinks she knows it allllll

 Well Moose, I can't believe how fast you are growing up, it seems like just a few months ago you were this little girl, sitting on my knees and laughing with me.....

VACAY!!!

Wow! Long absence on my part.

This is the first day in the past week that I have actually had time to sit down and write!

So let’s get started with the reason why it has been SO long!

Ced and I went on a little vacay!

This All Started on Saturday Night July 16^th, 2011 around 6pm.

Ced calls me at exactly 6pm after work and says “let’s go to Bell’s Lake tonight” I was a little hesitant since we had planned on leaving at the latest 8am Sunday morning for Montreal but I decided to go anyways.

By the time we got to the lake it was about 8:30……everyone had just finished supper and they were all settled around the fire drinking beer (perfect timing).

So we sat there for about 2 hours and then at around 10:30 we all went to bed!

The Next morning, Ced and I woke up alone at 7:00; we were gone by 7:30 on our way to Aylmer. Once in Aylmer we Showered, Got dressed, I did my hair and makeup and by 9:30 we were off to Montréal!

I was SO excited lol, this was the first real trip I have ever been on with a boy friend J I know, pretty lame but man was I excited!!!

So we got there around noon, checked in and went up to our room (and you don’t need THOSE details ha ha ha) So eventually we made it out and Ced took me for “a walk”, I knew something was up because he was being VERY sneaky but I just went along with it!

About 15 minutes later I saw a big BELL sign and right away I knew that I was screwed…..we were at the Bell Center!

We walked in and not only was there a Montreal Canadians Museum, but yes, there was a guided tour (gaaaaaaaaaaaah)!

So we did part of the museum first (it was interesting) then did the tour of the Bell Center….

We were there for about 2 hours (not so bad) but about ¾ of my pictures are from there lol!

Ced even looked in all the players “lockers” and took pictures 

 ha ha ha ha

So that wasn’t SOOOOO bad and well at least we got it out of the way first :P

That night we went out to Dinner with Ced’s mom, Nathalie, her boyfriend Pierre and his Daughter Gabrielle! It was an Amazing supper! After that Ced and I walked around the Vieux Port and did the 45 min trek back to our hotel! Now everyone knows that physical activity and myself DO NOT mix BUT it was a very beautiful walk! I fell in love right then and there and plan on living in Montréal some day!!!

The next day we rose at around 8am, went for breakfast and did what I wanted to do….we went SHOPPING….I could have spent the entire 3 days on St-Catherine spending my $$$$$$ BUT I didn’t lol…….at around 4pm we went back to our room, went swimming, showered and got ready for the BIG EVENT!!!

We went the Just For Laughs Gala and it was GREAT!!!! 

This show was rude and crude and I saw 3 penises…..well worth my money (poor Ced)

Sunday was the day to leave L I was SO sad!

We woke up late, packed up, checked out and headed home!

On the way though…..WE STOPPED AT A ZOOO!!!!!! Boo yah!!!!

It was greeeeeeeat lol Ced, not so impressed, but I was in my glory J 

SO we went home!

Wednesday we went to Mont-Cascade, it was SO hot and there were SO many people, it wasn’t really worth it so we left by 2pm, and brought Carly to the Beach instead!

Oh that Kid! She is amazing, she swam for and hour straight and chased Ced the WHOLE time! Great day!!!

Now here comes Friday!!!

Apparently, there was a surprise B-Day party for my Uncle Chris so WE HAD to go to that, I wasn’t really feeling it cuz I wanted to go to Bell’s Lake BUT Uncle Chris is one of my faves and I couldn’t NOT go!

However, I was a little sceptical about this party! Excuse my language but some stupid (Bi-ATCH) chick kinda let a cat out of the bag. This psycho texted me to give me poop about not inviting her to my graduation party on Friday….I was like “WTF” first off CRAZY its not a grad party and I am not going to invite your ASS to my Uncles Birthday, I invited your BF cuz I like him! You on the other hand….NOT SO MUCH!

So I had a feeling that this party MAY be for me….but there were no clues or hints so I let it go!!!

So Friday Anie and I go to Mom and Dad’s early and get ready there!!! By the time the melt downs and tantrums subsided, we were the last two to leave and it was a little late…but that’s ok we made it!

We got there and everyone was there, we all wished Chris a happy b-day and began to drink some beer!

BUT THEN…I see my beautiful car pull up, its Ced and Chad which was expected, then I see a white BMW and the only person I know with one of those is Ced’s Mom! THEN I see a mini Hyundai Accent and I KNOW that it’s Alyssa!!

SO my suspicions and that psycho were right! IT WAS FOR ME!!!!

A Surprise Graduation supper POOR MOI!!! J J J J how sweet!!!!

Then the next day! To finish our vacay off we headed to Bell’s Lake, all alone!!

It was amazing!! J 

So all in all pretty eventful week off….I wouldn’t have changed any of it!

Vacay!!!

Well it’s almost here….Next week I am off and I get to spend the whole time with my honey!

I am so excited about going to Montreal! I think it’s an experience that Ced and I need to share just to see how much of each other we can handle! Not only will the drive there be horrible, because he won’t let me drive BUT he drives like a total maniac! But once we actually get there, we have to agree on Activities!

I have literally put a bunch of ideas out on the table, and they all got rejected!!

BOOOOO!

So the first thing I wanted to do was go to the Biodome….MAN they have flippin’ penguins there!! How could ANYONE say no??? BUT Ced obviously isn’t anyone!

So there we go rejection number one!

Then I suggested the UNDERGROWN shopping center thingy, which is conveniently located downstairs at our hotel room, there’s an actual passage!!!! But NOPE once again that’s BOOOOORING

And for supper, there is revolving restaurant on the roof of our building, but nope that’s not a good idea either.

LASTLY, I’ve been whining and fussing about feather hair extensions for the past month and I found a salon in MTL (CHOPSHOP) that does them and denied again!!!

I think that Ced and I must ALWAYS disagree! It’s like our “thing”

BUT I must admit, one thing I am looking forward too is the just for laughs show that we are going to on Monday night! Mike Ward is in it, and really that’s all that matters!!!

Hopefully I will be alive by next week so I can post an update to this mini vacay! If not, I love you all and whatever happened, it was Ced’s fault!

OH EM GEE…..so I saw them a while back on Kesha and I really didn’t think much about them since I TOTALLY hate her!

But my friend, Alyssa, suggested we go get some about 3 weeks ago and since then, I am TOTALLY obsessed!

I spend my days googling pictures of them lol!

On Tuesday I have an appointment with a lady in Carleton place, $10 a feather!

I am so flipping excited, I feel like I am buying my car all over again! Ha ha ha ha

These feathers are SO cool!

Most of them you can wear for up to 6 months!!! That is INSANE. You can wash, blow-dry, straighten AND curl these bad boys!

So my next blog about feather extensions????

My Beast :(

I kind of feel silly writing about this….But I think it’s a big deal!

Yesterday, I sold my car! My first car that I have ever owned!

My Red, 1998, Nissan Sentra!

Now this may sound ridiculous, but I am actually sad!! L

Let start at the beginning!

I bought my car shortly after Randy and I broke up!

Prior to this devastation (lol) I didn’t really have the need for a car!

At first I lived with Maryse, she had a car (the Golden Nugget) and let’s face it, if she went somewhere, I went with her and if ever I needed her car she really wasn’t stingy, she let me borrow it whenever I wanted!

Then she moved out, which pretty much left me wheel less

HOWEVER, by this time, Randy and I lived together, and the need for a car was really minimal, our friends lived a 10 minute walk away and ANYTIME I needed a car, Doris (Randy’s Mom) lent it to me, she really was amazing!!!

But then, the UNTHINKABLE (in my eyes) happened. I decided that I needed to move on with my life, and Randy was just not at that point yet, it was quite possibly the hardest decision I had ever made, Randy was my world for 4 years. But on September 1st, we decided to break up, and by September 8^th (the day Carly was born) I had moved out of our apartment and moved in with Anie and Chad…and Carly!

After this I met Jonathan, and this guy kind of gave me a reality check, I left Randy because we weren’t at the same point in our lives, and Jonathan left me for the same reason (Karma really is a bitch) but the most grown up thing I did with him, was buy my car!!

My uncle Dave sold it to me for a whopping $1000, and I was hoping to get at least a year out of it!!

But it made it through almost 3!!

It made it through a lot!!

The biggest issues I had with it were when I was sneaking behind everyone’ back to see Randy again! One time, on my way there, my entire exhaust pipe let go, $600!! Then when I slept over, I locked my keys inside and had to break a window to get them out ($300) because I couldn’t call mom and Dad or Anie for my spare keys, I would get SHOT! Like I said, Karma IS a bitch!

Anyways, so for almost 3 years, that Car has been through so much, I think it is the most unreliable thing in my life!!! You never knew when it would break down and Die.

Even Ced drove it for 6 months while he was in-between cars, and OF COURSE while he drove it the water pump let go ($600) and the belts let go ($100).

Even though this car has cost me more then I paid for it, I am SO SAD I watch it go!!

All Grown Up and Car Shopping

Big BIG Day!!

Well guess who is growing up?

MOI!!!

Now let me explain to you just why I am growing up!!

Yesterday I called my sister and asked her if she would come car shopping with me!

Lets face it, I am SO shy that me talking to a TOTAL stranger about buying a car would NOT have been advantageous for me!

Kinda like my first tattoo, the salesman could have said ANYTHING and I would have smiled and nodded and agreed to go along with it.

My first tattoo is ugly, uncreative and has no meaning, I basically let the artist do what he wanted!

Anyways back to me car shopping!

So I searched online first and noticed that Nissan had employee pricing going on, BUT it was over June 30^th, 2011. I should mention that this car shopping extravaganza occurred on June 29^th, 2011!!!

So we go to the dealers and talk to this ANCIENT man.

I swear I don’t know why he’s a car salesman, I am assuming by his age, that he still drives a horse and buggy!

Anyways so we start talking!!!

I tell him that I am looking for a White, Manual Nisan Sentra!

And oh yes!!! The man tells me that there are 5 in the region and he can get one to the dealership in no time!

So here I am, nervous as heck and Anie and I take a standard model out for a test drive!!

Let me mention here that Anie and My Driving skills…..do not mix…..

So as she was hanging on for dear life to the “oh shit handle” I was cruising around in the test-drive vehicle!!!

So far so good!!

I am in love….

Now for Anie’s part!

This girl is a maniac! She can deal better than anyone I know

So along with my $4000 rebate she tried her hardest for winter tires….no budging!!

So I got a few free oil changes and some accessories!!
