All Grown Up and Car Shopping

Big BIG Day!!

Well guess who is growing up?

MOI!!!

Now let me explain to you just why I am growing up!!

Yesterday I called my sister and asked her if she would come car shopping with me!

Lets face it, I am SO shy that me talking to a TOTAL stranger about buying a car would NOT have been advantageous for me!

Kinda like my first tattoo, the salesman could have said ANYTHING and I would have smiled and nodded and agreed to go along with it.

My first tattoo is ugly, uncreative and has no meaning, I basically let the artist do what he wanted!

Anyways back to me car shopping!

So I searched online first and noticed that Nissan had employee pricing going on, BUT it was over June 30^th, 2011. I should mention that this car shopping extravaganza occurred on June 29^th, 2011!!!

So we go to the dealers and talk to this ANCIENT man.

I swear I don’t know why he’s a car salesman, I am assuming by his age, that he still drives a horse and buggy!

Anyways so we start talking!!!

I tell him that I am looking for a White, Manual Nisan Sentra!

And oh yes!!! The man tells me that there are 5 in the region and he can get one to the dealership in no time!

So here I am, nervous as heck and Anie and I take a standard model out for a test drive!!

Let me mention here that Anie and My Driving skills…..do not mix…..

So as she was hanging on for dear life to the “oh shit handle” I was cruising around in the test-drive vehicle!!!

So far so good!!

I am in love….

Now for Anie’s part!

This girl is a maniac! She can deal better than anyone I know

So along with my $4000 rebate she tried her hardest for winter tires….no budging!!

So I got a few free oil changes and some accessories!!

ALL THIS TO SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

I am now the proud owner of a Black, 2011, Manual, Nissan Sentra!!!

What a Weekend!!

and its only Saturday...

I have never seen so much rain in my whole entire life!

This is a picture of a washed out road in Luskville

One of my friends was actually stranded here all night long, she lives about 5 minutes away from here and there was no possible detour!!!!

Anie, Mom and I went to the Movies last night, the roads were pretty washed out on the way, but you all know me....and i basically cant avoid a puddle so i trooped right through the almost 2 feet of water with Mom's little Focus!

OH EM GEE on the way back, it took s 45 minutes to get home.....the entire Plateau was blocked off starting at the Tim Horton's to about Rona and all of the roads leading to the inside of the plateau were blocked off too.....we had to take QUITE the detour home!

the worst part is, its only Saturday and it is supposed to rain ALL night long!!!

honestly, I can't wait to see the damage tomorrow

done, Done, DONE!!!

So finally after 2 years of College and 3 of University I can finally say that I am finished :)
I honestly never thought that this day would come!

This LONG journey started with my last day of High School!
Aw man was I scared! How was I going to go from High School in Shawville QC to College in HULL??
I was going to have to move out and EVERYTHING!
But you know what, once I got passed the idea that I was a no body and I wasn't as cool as I thought I was in High School it started to Fall into Place.

The After College came the BIG kicker.....U.N.I.V.E.R.I.S.T.Y
Holy Heart Attack!
for 6 months prior to starting University, I didn't sleep.
I had (and still do) have a hard time saying Hi to people on the street that I have known since I'm a baby
How on EARTH was I supposed to go to a School Bigger and More populated than my home town????

I actually thought about not going! Like seriously contemplated it and contemplated the reaction I would get from my Dad!

But here we are! I am alive. In one piece....I Made it!

During this 6 year span SO many things have happened

Instead of one Nephew I now have 3 and 1 niece!

I have gotten my heart significantly broken twice!

I have moved out of my apartment and in with my sister!

I have gotten a job with the Government

I have gotten into a relationship with a world win of emotions and ups and downs.....That I wouldn't change for the world. I have actually found out what it means to be loved and to love someone back!

I have finally found who I am!!
